Jackson County Arts met at 6:00 p.m. on Monday December 13th, 2010. In attendance were David and Mary Schock, Linda Brownlow and Sarah Devader. Sarah hosted the meeting at Sarah's Enchanted Cottage.
Mary purchased the last three yards of black felt material for the display tables and has now finished making coverings for all six of them. We discussed a date and place for our next montly meeting and decided to have it again at Sarah's Enchanted Cottage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10th. We will have election of officers and make plans for the calendar year on this date. Membership dues of $12.00 per year will be received then. A soup supper is planned and the following persons volunteered to bring these items: Mary Schock, chicken noodle soup; Suzette Rogers, vegetable soup; Sarah Devader, a vegetable plate and Linda Brownlow, a dessert. We want to invite prospective new members and encourage old members to come to this meeting.
We had a balance of $261.46 at our last meeting. $14.00 in donations were collected. We paid $14.67 for the last three yards of black felt material for table cloths. Cash on hand at meeting time was 260.79.
